Are you planning your wedding in South Wales this year and looking for the perfect venue? The good news is that there are plenty of options available to suit every taste and budget. So whether you are looking for cheap wedding venues in South Wales, barn weddings in South Wales or want to know the best wedding venues in Cardiff, this blog has you covered!
In this blog you will find:-
-Wedding Venues at almost all price ranges/budgets
One of the biggest factors in choosing a wedding venue is the cost, especially of wedding receptions in South Wales. If you're on a tight budget, don't worry. There are plenty of affordable wedding venues in South Wales that offer great value for money.
Wedding Venues in South Wales have packages that range in price from 2k to 30k (based on 50 guests)
If you have a bit more to spend, you may want to consider a hotel or a country manor. These venues often have experienced wedding planners who can help you plan your big day and offer a range of packages to suit your needs. Many hotels and manors have beautiful gardens or grounds that can be used for outdoor ceremonies or drinks receptions.
Another popular option for weddings in South Wales is barn venues. These venues offer a rustic charm that is perfect for couples looking for a relaxed, informal wedding. Many barns have beautiful countryside views and can be decorated with bunting, fairy lights and flowers for a romantic atmosphere.
If you're looking for something a bit more unique, there are plenty of alternative wedding venues in South Wales too. These venues can offer a truly unforgettable setting for your special day. Whatever your style or budget, South Wales has a wedding venue that's perfect for you!
To help you find the perfect venue, we have created a custom map of 101 wedding venues in South Wales. This map includes everything from grand hotels to rustic barns, and will help you find the perfect venue for your special day. You will be surprised at how many wedding venues there are near you that you didnt know about!

How do you find the wedding Venues that suit a lower budget?
I wish this was easy to do but the truth is that wedding venues have a range of packages that fluctuate in price. When I created the map I thought about colour coding them in price brackets but because wedding venues change their prices yearly (sometimes more often than that) it was something that would be out of date before I finished it.
There is no subsititue for contacting wedding venues yourself and and getting prices. Remember that the lowest price does not always mean the least quaility! The custom map above will give you plenty of options for venues to contact. This is a risky suggestion but I will sugguest it anyway, I think you can probably tell with a fairly high degree of accuracy the cost of a venue by its pictures? Let me know if you find this to be true.
Tips to lower the cost of your wedding venue?
To lower the cost of your wedding venue hire, you can consider a week day wedding, most wedding venues are not as busy during week days (and there is less demand) which means you will often get a better price than if you hold your wedding on a Saturday.
One other thing I have seen recently is wedding venues advertising on places like Group On. You can see in the image that this wedding package of 50 guests for day and evening has been discounted from £6,999 to £2,499. You can see its a 64% reduction in price!
As a professional wedding magician based in South Wales, I perform at over 40 weddings per year and have done for the past 15 years. While it is true that every wedding venue is unique, I do have my favourites. I have choosen two of them below that I think you should check out.
Situated in Bridgend, Bryngarw is an incredible Wedding Venue that is easily accessible, is exclusive to your wedding, has accomodation onsite and is amazing for photograhs without the need to travel. I have written a blog about Bryngarw previously which you can read by clicking here.
I also found this blog which gives a lot of detail about Bryngarw and is definitely worth a read. Click here to check it out!
This is another great wedding venue that is simply beautiful to look at from the outside and gorgeous on the inside. The Coed y Mwster is also situated in Bridgend and has many of the things I outlined above about why Bryngarw is great. It is 100% worth checking out before you decide on your wedding venue.
So, whether you're planning a grand affair or an intimate ceremony, South Wales has something for everyone. With so many stunning wedding venues to choose from, you're sure to find the perfect place to say "I do".
