The run up to Christmas - a magicians marathon not a festive sprint!

I have been making a conscious effort to update my blog as often as possible but the past two months have been extremely busy and I am unashamed to say that I have needed to spend my non-performance time resting.

The festive period is extremely busy for most magicians simply because so many companies are looking for Christmas party entertainment. As a table magician, a mix & mingle performer and close-up magician, I have been extremely busy! Three of my recent 'gigs' have been for companies that I have performed for in each of their past five Christmas parties, four for companies I have performed for more than once at business events and a host of new clients, secured mainly on the recommendation of my existing clients.

From the Bloomsbury Hotel London, to the Celtic Manor, the Wales Millennium centre and many other venues. I have literally been 'hotfooting it' from one venue to the next with an abundance of coffee and an over-reliance on satellite navigation (which has caused some amusing incidents).

Just over a week left in this marathon of work that has meant only one day off in 51 days.
